Cristian Sarria Molina (or Cristian Sarria) was a Colombian architect. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana (UPB), Medellín, Colombia, in 1966. According to the Student Register, he later joined the Architectural Association (AA), London, in 1970-71, where he enrolled in the postgraduate Department of Development and Tropical Studies. Sarria joined Mario Novella’s course and was awarded a Diploma in Urban Development Planning. Before joining the AA, Sarria likely designed the cinema ‘Teatro Embajador’, now Cine Colombia Embajador, in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1969. However, little is known about his later career. The AA Membership List from 1979 suggests that he was based in Medellin, Colombia, at the time. Sarria passed away in November 2015.
