Aung Myint received an BArch from the University of Massachusetts and an MSc from Rangoon University (now Yangon University). In 1958, he is recorded as an employee of the Burmese National Housing Board. In the same year, he was awarded a scholarship under the Technical Co-operation Scheme of the Colombo Plan and travelled to the UK, attending the Architectural Association’s 6-month, post-graduate course within the AA Department of Tropical Architecture. Details of his subsequent life and career are not yet known to us.
