Timothy O'Chukwu Ekwulugo was born in Obosi, Anambra State, Nigeria, in 1920 and attended the Church Missionary Society Central Church, Obosi, in the 1930s. He is recorded as studying architecture at the Hammersmith School of Building and Arts and Crafts, London, graduating c1954, subsequently enrolling at Architectural Association Department of Tropical Studies, London (1955-56). Following the completion of his course, Ekwulugo appears to have moved back to Nigeria, where he was working in Enugu, for the Ministry of Works by 1962, remaining as a registered architect in Nigeria until at least 1970. Details of his subsequent career are not yet known to us. He passed away in London in 2003.
