K.S. Panesar is recorded as a student enrolled in September 1955 on the postgraduate course run by the Architectural Association’s Department of Tropical Architecture, in London. His project for the development of Bathurst New Town, in the Gambia (with fellow students, John Toovey and John Stuckey) is housed within the AA Archives, together with a favourable jury report from panellists including Jane Drew, James Cubitt and Maxwell Fry. A further document within AA Archives notes that prior to his attendance on the course, Panesar had been the Assistant Clerk of Works for a number of the buildings constructed for Makerere College, University of East Africa, Kampala, Uganda (now Makerere University). Details of his subsequent career are as yet unknown to us.
