Nathan Maduabuchukwu Obinegbo was born in Nigeria and studied Architecture at the Ahmadu Bello University, in Zaria, graduating in 1965. He is then recorded as a student enrolled on the 1966-67 postgraduate ‘Educational Building’ course run by the Architectural Association’s Department of Development and Tropical Studies, in London. He successfully completed his studies and was awarded an AA Postgraduate Certificate in July 1967. Details of his subsequent career are not yet known to us, but it appears that he completed a Masters Degree with Liverpool University in 1978, his thesis being entitled ‘Health Centres for Developing Countries: an Adaption of the Planning Ideology of a Building Type to the Circumstances of Developing Countries.’
