AA tutors Michael and Chiyan Ho’s short film, Lucky House, is currently screening at the ICA as part of Current Transmissions.

The London-based duo were commissioned last year by the ICA and the BBC through the New Creatives scheme. The scheme aims the support emerging talents create innovative works that reflect the diversity of contemporary life in Britain.

Told through the narrative of a Chinese Takeaway, Lucky House disseminates the notions and experiences of second-generation Chinese immigrants and the subsequent confrontation with desires, identity and cultural assimilation
