Roderick Nigel McKenzie is recorded as British student who enrolled on the five-year Diploma course at the Architectural Association, London, joining the Year 2 cohort in September 1966. Roderick took a year out in 1968-69 and as part of his final Diploma Year (1970-71) he elected to study within the AA’s Department of Development and Tropical Studies, where he was tutored by Hartmut Schmetzer. He subsequently graduated with both an AA Diploma and Certificate in Development and Tropical Studies. Details of his earlier education and subsequent career are not yet known to us.
